The Bloodhound A-style Mandolin, Blood-red finish
If you have a Bloodhound, you are probably used to the sound of howling. ... you will notice that the pitch of this mandolin howls from low to high, just like your dog's howl does! It has a thrilling sound and the D-shaped neck makes it easier to play by people with normal sized hands, or someone transitioning to the mandolin from the guitar or dobro. With a standard sized body, this model is available in matte and gloss (pictured) finishes.
Congratulations to Dustin Bartoe of Wellston, Ohio, for coming up with this original name. Thanks to you from the team at Mando Mo Strings.
Every Blood Hound comes with a solid spruce top, maple back, neck and sides; flawless binding top, back, neck and head stock, pearl inlay fret markers and Mando Mo logo, bone nut, Brekke adjustable bridge and adjustable truss rod. The instrument was hand-carved and constructed with air-dried (3-5 years) tonewood, top tap-tuned to A440 frequency.
